Breakfast At Our House – First Served!

P1060308When it comes to feeding our two cats, in the morning, it is the moment one tends to realize how near their wild ancestry still is as they observe closely the procedure to get them their meal. Our cat, Fresh, is particularly attentive and quiet and observant. She just watches . .. and waits . . . and is at total attention in case I might need some assistance in ‘taking down’ the tin of cat food for the ‘kill’.

Fresh has a quirk in that she only eats the tinned food the day it is opened. The tinned food is a small, morning treat so one, small can lasts all week. Fresh thoroughly enjoys her first helping but once it has been refrigerated, I guess it takes away from her imagining it is a recent conquest.
