Always a Baby . . .

About a month ago, a young, pregnant woman was brutally murdered and the premature baby she was carrying was cut out of her body and dumped in a receptacle and left to die. When the police were called to the scene, they discovered the tiny infant was still alive but barely. He was rushed to the hospital. He was on life support and the medical staffed labored over him for the next month. Sadly, however, the battle was lost and the little baby boy died.

I found an interesting unspoken narrative about the case. When the baby died, the police said that would mean two murder cases against the killers. I totally agree with that as two human beings were murdered that horrible day. However, there are only 38 states that recognize an unborn child as a victim in the carrying out of a murder upon a pregnant woman. So justice for this little boy was only because he was murdered in a state that believed the unborn baby was, in fact, a human baby. If the baby’s death had died in California, the murders would have gotten away with only one count of murder. Although this view would not change the fact that two people died, it minimizes life in the womb in all but 38 states.

Recently, overwhelmingly due to the democrats, babies are not treated as babies in the womb if the mother opts for abortion. Even more horrendous is that there are no provisions in some states that if the baby is born alive, the medical staff will give the mother time to decide whether or not to go ahead with the ‘abortion’ after the fact. The recently deceased infant had a much better end result to his tragic premature birth. He had warmth, care, medicine, little pain and died peacefully.

Thinking About the Next Election?

30 times. 30 times now Democrats have blocked consideration for the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

30 times Democrats have shown us how extreme their abortion agenda is. 30 times we are reminded just how much is at stake in upcoming elections. Not just 2020, but 2019 as well.

Interesting Question . . .

Can you be a Christian/Catholic in good standing and be a Democrat? If you are serious person of faith, that should be a no-brainer of a question. Start from the Ten Commandments and go from there: Thou Shalt Not Kill. There is no footnote stating, “Except in cases of necessary abortions or that you don’t want your baby or the baby would be an inconvenience . . .”

Now that the evil powers that be have made an inroad in legitimizing the brutal murder of babies even once they exit the womb ‘in error’, who is next on the disposal agenda or the unwanted? In one country, they pride themselves on not having Downs babies . . .they are aborted once this is detected in the womb. In other countries, the elderly and people with mental disorders are sanctioned to be ‘put out of their misery’ based on everyone’s decision but their own.

Two elections in a row, however, the Catholics/Christians easily voted in a president who sanctioned abortion and supported it with our taxpayer funds. He even said that he ‘wouldn’t want his daughter burdened with an unwanted baby’.

We have family that no longer speaks to us because we are Conservative Republicans yet they consider themselves to be Catholic. Thankfully, they just went silent whereas people in our parish actually denounced our voting choices and no longer speak with us. One woman even indicated that the economy should come first in determining our vote.

It makes me day dream about having pastors (the ones that didn’t vote Democratic!) stand at the pulpit, some day, and directly ask the congregation: Can YOU be a good Christian/Catholic and vote Democrat? And, if you think so, can you explain?

Can’t see it happening to any degree and any time soon as the fact that abortion/infanticide is gradually becoming the law of the land and not a word from the pulpit or a mention in the prayer petitions has been made.

Not a Topic of Interest to Catholics?

“A prayer petition for help for the people dealing with rising sea levels and for people with kind hearts to come to their aid . . .”

Basically, that is what was proclaimed in the Mass petitions during Mass today at our parish. As I mentioned in a previous posting, so far, no mention any previous Sunday of the fact that late-term abortion is available up until nine months now, a baby that survives an abortion can be killed, and word has it that infant baby parts are still being sold . . . in the United States of America. You know, the country that guarantees due process to murderers but no problem overlooking the legal abortionist murderers.

Where is the livid outrage from Catholic clergy and prelates? Where are the proclamations from the pulpit that abortion is murder and killing a survivor of abortion is diabolic.

Actually, I’ve been waiting since the tenth anniversary of Roe v. Wade to hear strong words from the pulpit. I remember we went to an afternoon Mass in commemoration of that day and . . . crickets as far as that subject was concerned although the then-pastor managed to draw a comparison between the Readings of the day and the last movie he had seen.

It is a sad day when the faux global warming issue gets billing in a Catholic Mass and the fate of babies heading for murder this very day, minute, second doesn’t seem to be a topic worth mentioning.

Murder By Law

Over the last few weeks, a horrible disease has spread among the majority of democrats in office. It is like a leprosy of the soul wherein they have drained the Grace of God out of their lives at the expense of the innocent unborn. I still find it hard to imagine any doctor who was trained to save lives, would not only abort a baby but see that any baby that survived the ordeal, would be killed. And, we are talking about late-term abortions where there is a viable baby being terminated and if the baby manages to leave the womb alive, is fair game for infanticide.

It will be hard to put out of my mind the picture of the radical left women at the State of the Union Address sitting in protest at President Trump’s defense of life, all dressed in white like a bunch of lemmings with hateful expressions on their faces. Interesting to note that in some cultures, wearing white is a sign of death or sorrow.

I’ve noticed that sin is never stagnant. It always escalates. Roe v. Wade started the country on this path and look where it is in our own lifetime. It is not impossible to think ‘convenient death’ won’t be another step . . . Elderly people can be a financial burden since they don’t bring any value to the world. Handicapped people . . . The mentally challenged . . . Brave new worlds are seldom good ones no matter what the democrats fantasize.
