The Catholic Vote in 2016?

Angel-Photo-Image-GraphicsFairy-650x1024

Judgement Day should be interesting. I’m sure we are all in for a few surprises! During the last eight years, thousands of babies were aborted with the help of our president’s pen. I can see Christ returning, flanked on either side with the baby souls that were not allowed a chance at life. And Catholics will stand there and bemoan the fact that someone like the president of the greatest country in the world, did absolutely nothing to protect life. Sad, isn’t it?

But, midst the mourning Catholics on that imagined Last Day, will be the ones who actually voted in the Culture of Death – not once but twice. Unless there was an epidemic of invincible ignorance, Catholics, at least fifty percent of them, reconfirmed their backing for the anti-life agenda with their vote. As Catholics, we represented more than one vote and more than one chance to possibly save unborn lives and only half of us took it seriously. The tears our Blessed Mother must shed for the United States of America!

It is interesting to note that there are three conditions to be met in order to commit a mortal sin. These conditions are: 1.) A grave matter; 2.) The full cooperation of your free will; 3.) Full knowledge of the seriousness of the matter. How can a Catholic rationalize voting for someone who, by his own admission, was for abortion? If you voted responsibly, you had to know this. Condoning and voting for a candidate that is for abortion, makes you an accessory after the crime . . . doesn’t it?

“But there are other issues at stake . . .” When will people wake up and realize that majority doesn’t make right? What can be more important than the moral issue of the God given right to life? In the Face of Eternity, will you be ultimately be judged on how you protected the amount of your Social Security check, your job security or your economic life style? Will it matter at that point? Will you be able to face the souls of the unborn a reckless vote murdered before their time? If we care so much for the little guy, why did fifty percent of the Catholics vote in favor of the candidate promoting the killing of the littlest of all?

How many times have you heard the tired view point that thinks that as a legal matter, it is all right to vote pro-choice? And the justification that we need to build a society where the need for abortion is reduced? And how there are so many more important issues at stake? You can’t build an honorable society with a foundation of dead pre-born. You won’t get the violence out of the world until we treat the weakest as our strength. The next presidential election is 2017. How will your vote go this time?

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)

Presidential Election 2016

Another major election is around the corner and if one has been watching any news, we know that the wishful candidates are lining up in almost droves. Each has something they care about the most and plan to base  their campaign platform on it. As a whole the democratic hopefuls are solidly in line in favor of abortion, any time, any way. Planned Parenthood will continue to thrive if one of them is elected.

Do we, as Catholics, support abortion? Those who truly follows the Laws of the Church would instantly say, “No, of course not!” Okay, message received but then WHY did over 50% of the Catholic vote help elect an adamantly anti-life president, two elections in a row? Where was the education from the pulpit about why abortion is wrong? It seems many of our Church hierarchy did not do a good job.

Almost eight years later, all Catholics and Christians are facing the results of the last eight years. Nuns are being obliged to have contraceptives included in their medical insurance, Planned Parenthood is running roughshod over the bodies of the millions of aborted babies in the name of science. There is a birth control mandate in the obamacare healthcare law . . . for those who can even afford the affordable care act.

In the last presidential election, people who did not approve of the Republican ticket just, plain stayed home to show their disrespect. How did that work out for them? According to the Catholic voter’s guide, we, as practicing Catholics have to vote for the most pro-life candidate. Since one of the main platforms of the democratic party is the abortion issue, that narrows down the choice quite a bit. Granted, not all Republican candidates are as adamant on the life issue as we would like but it comes down to voting in a party that has the better chance of standing by the unborn. There isn’t a chance of that with the democrats.

I know so many people who decided to go third party in their vote. Never in history, that I know of has a third party candidate won and, usually, the vote goes to the pro-choice side. So, you can voice your discontent by staying home (which tossed your vote, in a way, to the pro-choice side) or you can vote third party (with the same outcome for your misplaced vote.)

The world has gone from bad to worse the last few years. Probably time to vote from the viewpoint of your religion and moral values than vote your party. Ultimately, we can justify our vote but the last eight years wasn’t justified in that outcome. Is a vote for sin, a sin for the voter?

California Bills AB 775 and AB 117 -California Bills Backed by Planned Parenthood – Call!

This afternoon, the California state senate is returning to session and they may vote on two extremely dangerous pieces of legislation: AB 775 and AB 1177. A vote for these bills is a vote for Planned Parenthood. Please call the senators below today and urge them to vote no!

AB 775
This bill would force Pregnancy Resource Centers to advertise and refer clients for abortions! It is an outrageous attack on the conscience rights of non-profit centers which provide free services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and material resources to thousands of women each year in California.

AB 1177
This bill would let Planned Parenthood open new facilities without plans in place to accommodate for cases of emergencies arising from abortion complications.

Regardless of a politician’s position on abortion, voting “yes” on either of these bills is aligning him or herself with a criminal organization – Planned Parenthood.

Both bills are backed by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider, which is currently facing national scrutiny for the selling of body parts harvested from aborted babies, caught on undercover video. Twelve states and three Congressional committees have launched investigations in PP’s disgusting trafficking of baby body parts, and PP has already been defunded by five states!

Can you take just five minutes to call your senators (below) and urge them to vote NO on these two bills today? Here are some talking points:

  • I urge a NO vote on AB 775. The state should not mandate referrals to Planned Parenthood, which is currently under investigation in twelve states for the harvesting and trafficking of baby body parts.
  • I urge a NO vote on AB 1177. Women who undergo risky second-trimester abortions deserve immediate transfer to a hospital if complications arise.
  • AB 775 and AB 1177 are backed by Planned Parenthood. A vote for these bills will align Senator (Name) with an organization that appears to be breaking federal law.

2. “We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

5.I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan.”

6. “Birth control itself, often denounced as a violation of natural law, is nothing more or less than the facilitation of the process of weeding out the unfit, of preventing the birth of defectives or of those who will become defectives.”

7. “In their subjection women have not been brave enough, strong enough, pure enough to bring forth great sons and daughters.”
