Interesting List . . . Soylent Green, Anyone?

A long list of popular snacks, drinks, and candy. I’m willing to bet that even at this very moment of reading this list, most of us actually have one or more of these products in the house.

Horrible surprise but . . .

“HEK (human embryonic kidney cells 293), also known as HEK 293, 293, or less precisely as HEK cells. They are a specific cell line originally obtained from human embryonic kidney cells, and cultured in a laboratory (tissue culture). HEK 293 cells are very easy to grow and easy to transfect, which were widely used in cell biology research for many years. They are also used by the biotech industry to produce therapeutic proteins and viruses for gene therapy.”

    1. We’ve taken to drinking Perrier and adding some juice if we want a more ‘soda’ satisfaction for our thirst. I’ve been raiding the health stores and Swanson’s Vitamins online for more basic, embryo-free products. LOVE XyloBurst gum and I believe they have mints, too. There is probably no way the majority of the population will defer enjoying their sweets of choice or soda even knowing the truth but figure I will just do my part in what I buy or use. Is this a sick world or what?
