That’s what we’ve had at “modern” parishes for decades… “Free-Form Worship” – Why don’t we just change the name of our religion to “Non-denominational Semi-demonic Internationalist Romper Room” and be done with it? Why bother showing up at a “place”? That restrictive regressive “stuff” is just so anti-self actualizing…
Our parish is prone to having group Happy Birthday singing each month for that month’s birthday people. Believe it or not, Carl don’t seem to have a birthday anymore . . . at least at Sunday Mass! Ironically, St. John XXIII was even more adamantly against applause and such at Mass. Want to guess the name of our parish???
