I am not a big fan of Mr. Lincoln, but in this case – despite who he was – his pronouncement and reasoning are right on. Why? Because, as the Preamble to the Constitution irrefutably states, “We hold these TRUTHS to be self-evident…” Those to whom everything is variable, malleable, and subject to argument will never comprehend this.
